Cycle overview
Cycle descriptions
You can add or delete cycles to personalize the cycle list in the My cycles option. See page for more
information.
NOTE
Energy savings will vary depending on loads and cycles. Energy consumption could increase if the LCD
screen is set to stay on all year long.
If you have finished the wash cycle with a lower Spin setting, the laundry might not be fully dried after
the dry cycle. In this case, run the Time Dry cycle additionally.
To ensure even drying results, you may need to reposition the items in the drum.
Use the Towels cycle if you need to dry only the towels.
Wash+Dry cycles
Cycle Description
Normal
For cottons, bed linens, table linens, underwear, towels, or shirts.
The washing time and the rinse count are automatically adjusted
according to the load.
Default energy cycle for drying: Normal
- To access the Normal cycle on the LCD models, turn on the power,
and select Cycle > Normal.
AI Opti Wash & Dry
The Laundry Combo detects the type, weight, and soil level of your
laundry, and then selects the wash cycle settings accordingly. For
example, the Laundry Combo will add more detergent*, washing
time, and rinse count if your laundry is heavily soiled, and it will
select appropriate settings to handle delicate items.
- *: We recommend enabling the Auto Dispense function if you use
the AI Opti Wash & Dry cycle. Enable the Auto Dispense function
if you want the Laundry Combo to adjust the detergent amount
automatically according to the soil level of your laundry.
- Based on internal testing using the AI Opti Wash & Dry cycle on
an IEC 8 lb load. A turbidity sensor operates for all weight while
fabric sensing operates for 8lb and under. Actual results may vary
depending on individual use.
Super Speed
The shortened time may differ depending on the load/options.
For best performance, recommended load is 10 lb (4.5 kg) or lower.
Heavy Duty For sturdy, colorfast fabrics and heavily soiled items.
Small Load
For lightly soiled items that you want to finish washing quickly.
For best performance, recommended load is 4 lb (2.0 kg) or lower.
