Lift the door straight up and off
the hinges
The gasket is designed with a gap
at the bottom to allow for proper
air circulation
Do not rub or clean the door

wag or if it has become displaced
on the door, gou should have it

Lift-Off Oven Door
The oven door is removable, but it is heavy.
You may need help removing and repladng
the door.
Toremove the door, open it a few inches
to the special stop position that will hold the
door open.Graspfirmlg on each sideand lift
the door straight up and off the hinges.
NOTE:Becareful not to place handsbetween
the hinge and the ovendoor frame as the
hinge couldmop back and pinch fingers.
Toreplace the door, make surethe hinges
are in the special stop position. Positionthe
slotsin the bottom of the door squarelg over
the hinges.Then lower the door slowlg and
evenlg overboth hingesat the same time. If
the hinges snap back against the oven frame,
pull them back out.
Tocleon the inside of the doon
_4!_Donot allow excesswater to run into
ang holes or slotsin the door
_',Becausethe area insidethe gasket is
cleaned during the self clean cgcle,gou do
not need to clean this bg hand. Ang soap
left on the liner causesadditional stains
when the oven isheated.
_IThearea outside the gasket can be
cleaned with a soap-filled steelwool or
plasticpad.
Tocleon the outsideofthe door:

the top, sides and front of the oven doon
Rinsewell. You mag also use a glass
cleaner to clean the glass on the outside
of the doon
i_ Spillageof marinades,fruit juices,tomato
sauces and basting materials containing
acids mag cause discoloration and should
be wiped up immediatelg. When the
surface iscool,clean and rinse.
i_ Donot useoven cleaners,cleansing
powders or harsh abrasiveson the
outside of the doon
Oven Bottom
Theoven bottom has a porcelainenamel
finish.Tomake cleaning easier,protect the
oven bottom from excessivespilloversbg
placing a cookie sheet on the shelf below the
shelf gou are cooking on.Thisisparticularlg
important when baking a fruit pieor other
foods with a high acid content. Hot fruit
fillings or other foods that are highlg acidic
(suchastomatoes, sauerkraut, and sauces
with vinegar or lemonjuice) mag cause
pitting and damage to the porcelainenamel
surface and should be wiped up immediatelg.
We don't recommend using aluminum foil on
the oven bottom. It can affect air flow ifthe
holesare blocked and it can concentrate heat
at the bottom of the oven, resulting in poor
baking performance.
Toclean up spillovers,usesoap and water,
an abrasive cleaner or soap-filled scouring
pad. Removethe oven bottom for easier
clean-up and to prevent damage to the
continuous cleaning oven coating
(onsome models).
