making them easy to clean. Theelectrodes
are not removable.

Electrode-
The electrode of the spark igniter is
exposed when the burner head is
removed. When one burner is turned
to LITE, all the burners spark. Do not
attempt to disassemble or clean
around ang burner while another
burner is on. An electric shock mag
result, which could cause gou to knock
over hot cookware.
Burner Grates
Lift out when cool. Gratesshould be washed
regularlg and, of course,after spillovers.

with clean water After cleaning,drg them
thoroughlg bg putting them in a warm oven
for a few minutes. Don't put the grates back
on the range while theg are wet. When
replacing the grates, be suretheg are
positioned securelgover the burners.
Do not operate a burner for an extended
period of time without cookware on the grate.
Thefinish on the grate mag chipwithout
eookware to absorb the heat.
Toget rid of burned-on food, placethe grates
in a covered containen Add 1/4 cup ammonia
and letthem soak several hours or overnight.
Wash, rinsewell and drg.
Although theg are durable,the grates
will graduallg losetheir shine, regardless
of the best care gou can give them. This
isdue to their continual exposure to high
temperatures. Youwill notice this sooner
with lighter color grates.
NOTE:Donot cleanthegrates in a
self-deaning oven.
