Cleaning the Pump Filter
The pump filter system in your washing machine prolongs the life of the pump by preventing lint from
entering your machine. We recommend that you clean the pump filter every 2 months. The pump
filter is located behind the cover on the front-lower right corner.
To clean the pump filter:
1. Carefully pry open the filter cover located at the lower right corner
on the front of the washer. You can use the end of the flat liquid
detergent plate or the end of the detergent scoop to open the filter
cover.
2. Place a container under the filter cover to collect any water left in
the machine.
3. Turn the filter counter-clockwise and pulling it to remove. Allow the
water in the unit to drain.
NOTE: Depending on the amount of water inside the machine, you
may need to empty the water collection container more than once.
4. Remove any foreign materials from the filter with a soft brush and
rinse thoroughly.
5. After cleaning, re-fit the filter by inserting it and turning clockwise.
6. Close the filter cover. When closing the pump cover, ensure that the
mountings inside the cover meet the holes on the front panel side.
WARNING: Water in the pump may be hot. Allow sufficient time for the
water to cool down before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance.

Detergent Tray
The use of detergent may cause residual build up in the detergent drawer over time. We recommend
that you remove the drawer every 2 months to clean the accumulated residue.
1. Pull the tray to the out position, then press
the spot indicated by the arrow and pull to
fully remove from the washer.
2. Use a soft brush and water to clean off any
detergent residue that may have
accumulated in the tray.
3. Make sure all parts and accessories are
properly put back into the correct positions,
then slide the tray back into place in the
washer.
NOTE: DO NOT place the detergent tray
in a dishwasher for cleaning.
