Setting Oven Controls (con't)
Setting Preheat
The PREHEAT _,PE"AE_-_pad controHsthe Preheat feature. The Preheat feature wHHbring the oven up to temperature and
then indicate when to pHacethe food in the oven. Use this feature when recipes caHHfor preheating. Preheating is not
necessary when roasting or cooking casseroHes. The oven can be programmed to preheat at any temperature between
170°F to 550°F.
mNSTRUCTmONS
To set the Preheat temperature for 350°F
1, Arrange the interior oven racks,
2. Press "- - - °" and "BAKE" wHHappear in the dispHay
(Figure 1).
3. Press _ @ @. "350 °" wHHappear in the dispHay
(Figure2).
4. Press _'_Am_. "PRE" and "BAKE" wHHappear in the
dispHay
as
the oven heats and reaches 350°F (Figure 3).
Note: After the oven has reached the desired temperature (this
exampHe, 350°F) the controH wHHbeep and the "PRE" HightwiHHturn
off and oven temperature wiHHbe dispHayed (Figure 4). Hfyou missed
hearing the beep, you can teHHthat the oven has reached preheat
temperature if you see the oven temperature showing in the oven
dispHay. Once the oven has preheated, place food in the oven. The
"BAKE" light wiii stay on.
Press _ when baking is complete or to cancel the
preheat

To change Preheat temperature while oven is
preheating (e×amp_e: changing from 350°F to 425°F)
Hfit is necessary to change the preheat temperature whiHethe oven
is preheating to the originaH temperature:
1. WhiHe preheating, press _,_'E"AET_."- - -°" and "BAKE" wiHHappear
in the dispHay (Figure 5)
2. Enter the new preheat temperature. Press @ _ @.
"425 °" and "BAKE" wiHHappear in the dispHay(Figure 6).
