Every Kenmore automatic dryer is thoroughly lubricated at the
time of assembly with lubricants designed to last the normal life
of the product. Under normal operating conditions further
lubrication should not be required.
In those instances where dryer operating time accumulates
rapidly, noise level may be reduced and bearing life extended by
proper lubrication. If repairs are performed on the machine, then
complete lubrication of the repaired assemblies is desirable.
Effective, long-lasting lubrication of a dryer requires
lubricants designed for the particular application. The
following chart lists the recommended lubricant. This lubricant is
available from any Sears Parts Department.
