9. Once the Pretzels have completed cooking, raise the Lid with a potholder or oven mitt.
Remove the pastries from the Nonstick Cooking Surface with a plastic or wooden spoon.
DO NOT use metal utensils, as they may scratch and damage the nonstick surface.
NOTE: If cooking more than one batch of pretzels in a session, close the lid to maintain
heat until ready to cook the next batch.
10. As soon as you are finished cooking, unplug appliance, and allow to cool before
cleaning.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE:
WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing.
Clean the upper and lower Nonstick Cooking Surface with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and
dry.
Wipe the exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
The nonstick surface should be lightly coated with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Vegetable oil can be applied with a paper towel or with a nonstick oil spray. This helps
protect the nonstick cooking surface.
NOTE: This should be done periodically to maintain the nonstick quality.
RECIPIES
Make dough from scratch using the following recipes or use your favorite store
bought pretzel dough, cinnamon roll dough, breadstick dough, bread dough and more!
Form pretzels and place them on the lower nonstick cooking plate.
Close and lock plates pretzels bake in just 3-7 minutes.
Enjoy your warm, soft pretzels plain or with your favorite dipping sauce, glaze, or salt.
TRADITIONAL SOFT PRETZELS
1½ Cups Water
3 Cups Flour
1¼ Tsp. Active Dry Yeast (1 pkg.)
2 Cups Water
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Baking Soda
1¼ Tsp. Salt
Sea Salt
1 Cup Bread Flour
2-4 Tbsp. Butter (melted)
1. Preheat pretzel maker as directed.
2. Stir yeast in lukewarm water in mixing bowl until fully dissolved. Stir in sugar and salt
until dissolved. Add flour and knead dough until smooth and elastic.
3. Allow dough to rise for at least 30 minutes.
4. While dough is rising, prepare a baking soda water bath with 2 cups warm water and 2
Tbsp. baking soda, stirring often.
5. After dough has risen, roll out dough and form into pretzel shapes.
6. Dip pretzels into baking soda solution and place onto preheated bottom cooking plate.
Close the top and cook for 3-7 minutes.
