Before First Use
IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as there
may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
WARNING: Do not place any part of the product in a dishwasher.
HOW TO USE:
Attention: During the first use the heating element undergoes a minor chemical
reaction that may result in a slight odor and/or minor smoking. It quickly goes away.
1. Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and dry. Find a dry, suitable,
level surface near an electrical outlet.
2. Preheat the appliance by closing the lid and plugging into an electrical outlet.
3. When the power is on, the Red power light will come on. The Green ready light will stay
off while the appliance is preheating.
ATTENTION: Allow the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.
4. The appliance should preheat for a minimum of 3 minutes. The Green ready light will
turn on when the appliance is ready to cook.
5. While the appliance is preheating, you may prepare the ingredients for your pretzels.
6. Raise the Lid using an oven mitt or potholder to prevent accidental burns. Fill each of the
five pretzel wells in the cooking surface with mixture.
7. Close the Lid using a potholder or oven mitt. Make sure Lid is locked.
WARNING: Steam may be released from appliance during cooking. For your safety,
avoid contact with steam, as it is very hot and can cause burns.
8. The cooking time will range between 3-5 minutes, depending on the type of pastries
being cooked and personal taste.
