CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Almost all parts of the Electric Indoor Air Fryer + Grill are top-rack dishwasher-safe, except
for the main unit housing and probe thermometer, making cleanup a snap.
1. Unplug the unit and let it cool completely before cleaning. (For faster cooling, leave
the lid up.)
2. To remove the splatter shield, press the tab on the top of the shield to release it.
3. Wash the cooking pot, air fry basket, grill plate, and splatter shield with warm, soapy
water, rinse, and dry well with a towel for best results. These parts can also be washed
in the top rack of the dishwasher.
4. Be sure to clean the splatter shield after each use. If the splatter shield has baked-on
grease that does not come off in the dishwasher or with hand washing, an overnight
soak in soapy water should soften it.
5. Wipe down the outside of the unit and the interior basin with a damp cloth as needed.
Be sure the interior basin is fully dry before using again. Do not put the unit in the
dishwasher or submerge in water or any other liquids. Keep liquids away from the
thermometer jack.
6. Wash the thermometer probe in warm, soapy water (do not wash the thermometer's
jack), rinse, and dry well. When dry, insert the probe in its slot on the winding wheel,
and wind the cord around the wheel to prevent kinks. Store the probe and winding
wheel inside the unit.
7. To prevent damaging the nishes, do not use abrasive cleansers on baskets, racks,
or the interior or exterior of the appliance.
