13.6 Starting the program
Requirement:A program has been set.

Press Start Pause.
aThe drum rotates and load detection takes place. This
can take up to 2 minutes, after which water enters the
drum.
aThe display shows the program duration or the "Ready
in" time.
aAfter the program has ended, the display shows: End.
13.7 Changing the activated "Ready in" time
If you have set and activated a "Ready in" time for a de-
layed program start, you can change the "Ready in" time
again before the program starts.

1. Press Start Pause.
The activated "Ready in" time is paused.
2. Press Finish in repeatedly until the display indicates
the desired "Ready in" time.
3. Press Start Pause.
The changed "Ready in" time is activated.
13.8 Adding laundry
After the program starts, you can remove or add laundry
depending on the program status.
1. Press Start Pause.
The appliance pauses.
Note:If you want to add laundry, follow the instructions
on the display.

2. Open the door.
3. Add or remove laundry.
4. Close the door.
5. Press Start Pause.
13.9 Terminating the program
1. Press Start Pause.
2. Open the door.
The appliance door remains locked for safety reasons if
the temperature and water levels are high.
If the temperature is high, start the Rinse program.
If the water level is high, start the Spin program or
select a suitable program for draining.

13.10 Removing the laundry
1. Open the door.
2. Remove the laundry from the drum.
13.11 Switching off the appliance
1. Turn the program selector to Off.
2. Turn off the tap.
3. Wipe the rubber gasket dry and remove any foreign ob-
jects.
4. Leave the appliance door and detergent drawer open so
that residual water can evaporate.

Secure your appliance against being operated unintention-
ally using the controls.
14.1 Activate control panel lock
Press and hold the Temperature and Finish in buttons
for approximately 3seconds.
aThe display shows .
aThe controls are locked.
aThe control panel lock remains active even after the ap-
pliance has been switched off and in the event of a
power failure.
14.2 Deactivate control panel lock
Requirement:To deactivate the control panel lock, the
appliance must be switched on.
Press and hold the Temperature and Finish in buttons
for approximately 3seconds.
