2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Set the cutting height lever in the servicing position.
4. Set the lift lever for the cutting deck in the mow
position.
5. Put the drive belt as shown to make sure that it does
not get caught and break when the cutting deck is
attached.
6. Push the equipment frame down. Lift the service lock
to vertical position.
WARNING: The lock
mechanism can cause injury to
fingers if you do not operate it
carefully. Put the service lock in full
vertical position and hold the front
edge of the cutting deck with two
hands when you continue to the
next step.
7. Lift the front edge of the cutting deck and move it
into the equipment frame. The plugs on the cutting
deck, one on each side, must be put in the grooves
on the equipment frame. The service lock releases
automatically.

8. Lift the cutting height stay from the stay holder and
put it in the hole for the cutting height stay (A).

9. Put the drive belt around the tension wheel (B).
10. Put the spring in the spring holder (C).
11. Set the lift lever for the cutting deck in locked
position. The cutting deck lifts.
12. Attach the front cover.
