1.3 Description of TFT Display
1. A Waveform Display: at the upper-left display area, displays the waveform of channel A and preset parameter.
2. B Waveform Display: at the upper-central display area, displays the waveform of channel B under the variety
functions.
3. Function Menu: at the right-side display area, displays the function menu on the first line.
4. Option Menu: at the right-side display area, displays the option menu from the second line to the sixth line.
5. Parameter Menu: at the lower-left display area, displays the waveform of channel A, frequency, amplitude,
offset, phase and duty cycle.
6. Unit Menu: at the bottom of display area, displays unit menu on the bottom line of TFT display.
1.4 Key Description
On the front panel, there are 38 keys which are divided into five categories.
1.4.1 Function Key
Key [Channel] [Sweep] [MOD] [BURST] [SK]: select the ten functions of the instrument
Key [COUNT]: select the function of frequency counter.
Key [SYS] and [CAL]: set the system parameter and calibration, also used to exit remote control.
Key [A- ] [A- ]: select the waveform of channel A.
Key [B- ] [B- ] [B- ] [B-Arb]: select the channel B waveform.
Key [CHA Output] [CHB Output]: turn on/off the output or the trigger signal of channel A and channel B.
1.4.2 Soft Key
There are five blank soft keys at the right side of TFT display. They are used to select the variety options under
each function.
1.4.3 Numeric Keypad
Key [0] [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]: for numeric input.
Key [.]: decimal point.
Key [-]: negative sign (-).
