16.2 Troubleshooting Checklist
A. When the tool does not work properly:
⚫ Make sure the tool has been registered online.
⚫ Make sure the system software and diagnostic application software
are properly updated.
⚫ Make sure the tool is connected to the Internet.
⚫ Check all cables, connections, and indicators to see if the signal is
being received.
B. When battery life is shorter than usual:
⚫ This may happen when you are in an area with low signal strength.
⚫ Turn off your device when not in use.
C. When unable to power on the tool:
⚫ Make sure the tool is connected to a power source or has sufficient
battery.
D. When unable to charge the tool:
⚫ Your charger maybe out of order. Contact your nearest dealer.
⚫ You may be attempting to use the device in an overly hot/cold
temperature. Use the tool in an environment within normal operating
temperatures.
⚫ Your device may have not been properly connected to the charger.
Check the connector.
NOTE

16.3 About Battery Usage
Your tool is powered by a built-in Lithium-ion Polymer battery. The Lithium-ion
Polymer battery can recharge while some charge remains without reducing your
tool’s autonomy due to the “battery memory effect” inherent in this type of battery
technology.
