8. Special Functions
As a comprehensive key tool, the KM100 provides you with several practical
special functions which consist of IMMO data processing, key unlocking,
universal key information detection, button adjustment, and ignition coil detection.
Each special function will be introduced in the following sections.
9.1 IMMO Data Processing
By using the IMMO Data Processing function, you are allowed to load the IMMO-
related ECU information of a vehicle to calculate a password and other IMMO
information, which will be written into the transponder of the vehicle. This
processed transponder can be used to start the vehicle, in other words, you now
have an extra key available.
The IMMO data processing is menu-driven; select the correct parameter to
advance the operation.
➢ To process the IMMO data
1. Choose a region. Currently, the KM100 can access the IMMO data
of the automakers from Asia, Europe, and the USA.
2. Choose a vehicle make or search for a vehicle make in the search
bar. You can use the alphabetical list on the right of the screen to
fast locate a vehicle make.
