2. Main Section
⚫ Left Column — displays manufacturer buttons. Tap the vehicle brand
of your selection to open an information screen to view more details.
⚫ Middle Column — displays available software updates and a brief
introduction about the new changes to the software operation or
capabilities.
⚫ Right Column — displays an update button, which also works as an
update progress bar indicating the completion status in percentage
when downloading the software selected.
➢ To update the software
1. Make sure the tool is connected to a power source with stable
access to the Internet.
2. Tap Update on the MaxiIM Job Menu, or tap the update notification
message when received one. The Update application screen
displays.
3. Check all available updates:
⚫ If you decide to update all the items of the software, tap the
button on the upper-right corner to have all the downloadable
items in updating status. This will also update all the items at
once if not tap the button again to suspend or resume the
updating process.
⚫ If you only want to update one or some of the item(s), tap the
Acquire button on the right column of the specific item(s). Tap
the button again to suspend or resume the updating process.
4. When the updating process is completed, the software will be
installed automatically. The previous version will be replaced.
