Message Cause and remedy
lights up yellow
in the display and
an alarm also
sounds.
The ice cube drawer is not in the refrigeration appli-
ance. A buzzer sounds after closing the appliance
door.
Touch in the display.
The alarm message is confirmed and the buzzer
stops.
The current temperature will appear in the display
again.
Replace the drawer correctly in the refrigeration
appliance or switch the ice cube maker off.
The mains water connection has not been installed.
Make sure that the mains water connection has
been installed correctly.
The water supply is turned off.
Open the stopcock.
There is a kink in the stainless steel hose.
Check the stainless steel hose; if it is faulty, it must
only be replaced by an original Miele spare part.
The water connection pressure is too low.
Check that the water connection pressure is
between 150kPa and 600kPa (1.5bar and 6bar).
The symbol lights up
in the display and an
alarm sounds.
You have selected the “Cleaning position” func-
tion, and the appliance has detected that the ice
cube drawer is full. The selected procedure is inter-
rupted and an alarm has sounded.
Touch in the display.
The alarm message is confirmed and the warning
tone stops.
The current temperature will appear in the display

Empty the drawer, and then replace it in the appli-
ance.

Tap
on the display to switch the alarm off.
Call the Miele Customer Service Department.
