HOW TO REPLACE THE FUSE
Ifthe fuse isblown, the engine will not start The tocation of the fuse
is next to the battery. Remove the fuse and replace with a 15 amp
automotive fuse (Figure 40)

HOW TO SET THE CUTTING HEIGHT
The cuttingheight isset atthe factory from 1t/2to4 inches..Tolower
or raise the cuttingheight, make an adjustment tothe lifter rod as
follows.
1+, Move the liftlever to the lowest position.
2o Disconnect the lifter rod from the lifter arm (Figure 41).
3. Turn the lifter rod clockwiseto lower or counterclockwise to
raise the cuttingheighL
4° Attach the lifter rod tothe lifter arm.
5. Movethe lift leverto thehighestposition..Makesure the pulleys
or belt do not touchthe bottomofthe frame,

HOW TO CLEAN THE MOWER HOUSING
,_ WARNING: Before you clean the mower housing,
stop the engine and disconnect the wire to the spark
plug.
Grass and other debris ontop of the mower housing can keep the
belt from working correctly. For safety and correct operation,
frequently clean the top of the mower housing° Remove grass and
debris from around the pulleys and other moving parts°
1+ Move the lever for the attachment clutch to the ENGAGE posi-
tion

4 Again clean the top of the mower housing
5 After you cut thegrass, clean the bottom of the mower housing
FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
The alignment of the front wheels cannot be adjusted° Ifthe steering
is damaged and the alignment has changed, see your nearest
authorized service center
