Proofing can be used
to prepare bread or

• Dough is usually ready when it
appears double in size. Check
regularly when cooking.
• Allow dough to complete at least
one rise at room temperature.

Roast
Roasting can be used
to enhance flavor
through caramelization
and browning on the
surface, leaving food
moist and juicy on the
inside.

• Roasting can get done quicker so it
