If the model is not vented
to the outside, the air will
be recirculated through a
disposable charcoal filter
that helps remove smoke
and odors.
The charcoal filter should
be replaced when it is
noticeably dirty or dis-
colored (usually atter 6 to
12 months, depending on
hood usage).
To remove tile charcoal
filter, disconnect power at
the main tuse or circuit
breaker panel or pull tile
plug.
Remove 2 grille screws to
remove the gdlle.
Remove the top grille by
removing tile 2 screws that
hold it in place. Slide the
filter towards the fl'ont of
the oven and remove it.
To install a new tilter,
renlove plastic and other
outer wrapping fl'om the
new filter.
Insert tile filter into tile
top opening of tile oven as
shown. It will rest at an
angle on 2 side support
tabs and in fl'ont oI the
right rear tab. P-.eplace
the grille and 2 screws.
