SAFE OPERATION PRACTICES

WARNING – AVOID FIRES
Your tractor is designed to cut normal residential grass
of a height no more than 10” (25 cm). Do not attempt
to mow through unusually tall, dry grass (e.g., pasture)
or piles of dry leaves. Allow tractor to cool at least five
minutes before fueling or storing inside an enclosed
garage or storage shed.
WARNING – AVOID AMPUTATION INJURY
Do not put hands or feet near or under the cutting deck.
Contact with the blade(s) can amputate hands and feet.

Do not put hands or feet near rotating parts or
under the cutting deck. Contact with the blade(s)
can amputate hands and feet. Ensure that all safety
devices (guards, shields, switches, etc.) are in place and
working. Belt and/or blade spindle contact can crush or
injure body parts.
WARNING – REMOVE KEY
Always turn off blade(s), set the parking brake, stop
engine, and remove key before dismounting. If you are
leaving the tractor unattended, always remove the key
to prevent unauthorized use by children or others.

WARNING – AVOID TOWING RELATED INJURY
Do not tow a load that exceeds 250 lbs (113 kg)
rolling weight and never exceed 50 lbs (22 kg) tongue
weight. Never allow children or others in or on towed
equipment. Do not tow on slopes greater than 5° (9%).
On slopes, the weight of the towed equipment may
cause loss of traction, loss of control, and/or loss of the
ability to stop. Travel slowly and allow extra distance
to stop.
