installation preparation - model GDS60-1
REAR VENT TERMINATION:
Rear exit installations which terminate horizontally and have no vertical
vent runs must have the BTU input reduced to 21,000 BTU/hr by
changing the orifi ce (supplied).
In order to access the orifi ce, the log support secured by two screws,
must be removed.
Care should be taken not to damage the manifold gas pipe. When
removing the orifi ce, using a socket wrench, a back-up wrench must
be used on the manifold, located below the housing, to ensure that the
aluminum tubing does not twist or kink.
