1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Insert a flathead screwdriver or a key

into the small opening (B) of the bottom
cover (A). Press the cover using a lot of force - but also being careful -
downwards. Remove the cover.

3. Place a container in front of the opening.
4. Open the drain pump filter (C), but do not remove it completely. Rotate the drain
pump filter (C) in anti-clockwise direction until the water begins to run; s. fig.
below.

5. Wait until the water has drained completely.
6. Unscrew the drain pump filter completely and remove it.
7. Clean the drain pump filter.
8. Depending on model, check that the pump rotor can move freely.
9. Insert the drain pump filter (C) and screw it in as far as possible in clockwise
direction; s. fig. below.
