Using your kegerator/beverage cooler
Setting the temperature
The temperature range of the thermostat goes from 32° F to 45° F
(0° C to 7° C). The optimum temperature for serving draught beer is
between 34° F - 38° F (1.1° C - 3.3° C). We suggest that you keep an
accurate thermometer handy to help you to adjust the temperature
setting to your needs.
1 Plug in your kegerator/beverage cooler, set the thermostat set to
maximum (6), then let it run for 48 hours before making any
temperature adjustments.
2 After it is fully cooled, adjust the thermostat to desired temperature.
3 Turn the thermostat to the OFF position to turn off your
kegerator/beverage cooler. Turning the thermostat OFF stops the
cooling cycle but does not shut off the power to your cooler.
Dispensing Beer
Proper foam should leave a tight, creamy head, and the head on the
average glass should be 3/4” to 1” high.
1 Allow the keg to cool for 2-4 hours before dispensing beer.
2 Rinse a clean beer glass under cold water.
3 Place the glass under the tap, at a 45° angle, leaving approximately
1/4” between the glass and tap.
Notes
If the kegerator/beverage cooler is unplugged or loses
power, you must wait three to five minutes before
restarting it. If you attempt to restart before this time delay,
the kegerator/beverage cooler will not start.
To change the thermostat setting, adjust it by one
increment at a time. Allow several hours for the
temperature to stabilize between adjustments.
