Protecting scenes/still
pictures
Scenes/still pictures can be protected so that they are not deleted by mistake.
(Even if you protect some scenes/still pictures on an SD card, formatting the SD card will delete
them,)

[SCENE PROTECT] _ [YES]
2 Select the scene/still picture to
be protected and then press the
cursor button.
The [ O_ ] indication appears and the scene/still
picture is protected.
• Press the cursor button again to cancel the
setting.
• 2 or more scenes/still pictures can be set in
succession.
• Press the MENU button to complete the
settings.
• When play mode is set to [INTEL. SCENE]
while playing back motion pictures, scenes
cannot be protected.
