GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on th_s tractor does not cover
items that have been subiected to oper&tor
abuse or negligence. To recewe full value
from the warranty, operator must maintain
tractor as _nstructed _nthis manual.
Some adlus[ments wilt need to be made
periodicallyto properly maintain your tractor.
At least once a season, check to see if
you should make any of the adjustments
described _nthe Service and Adlustments
section of this manual.
, At least once a year you should replace
the spark plug, clean or replace a_r filter,
and check blades and belts for wear. A
new spark plug and clean a_rfilter assure
proper air-fuel m_xture and help your en-
gine run better and fast longer.
BEFORE EACH USE

Viscous lubricants wd/attract dust and dirt
that wilt shorten the life of the self-lubncatmg
bearings. If you feelthey must be lubricated,
use only a dry, powdered graphite type
lubncant spanngly.
