Entering text
Text Input Methods
The on-screen keyboard displays automatically on the screen when you
need to enter text. To manually display the on-screen keyboard, simply tap a
text field where you want to enter text.
Selection Box
Tap to type in message.
Tap to enter text by voice.
Touch and hold to access your
keyboard settings, handwriting
slate, or clip tray.
Toggles between 123/SYM
mode and ABC mode.
Using the Smart keyboard
You can use the Smart keyboard to enter and edit text.
With the Smart keyboard, you can view text as you type without bothering
to alternate between the screen and a conventional keyboard. This allows
you to easily find and correct errors when typing.
