Drying a load of laundry
Available actions
You can carry out additional actions and view and confi gure other settings using the controls
provided in the Actions section of the Cycle Selection screen. There are six controls, Smart
Control, Save as My Cycles, Delay Start, Child Lock, Light, and Settings.
Smart Control (Elec. Model Only)
Tap this control to turn the Smart Control function on or o . When this function is turned on, you
can control the dryer using your mobile phone.
Turning the Smart Control function on changes the icon from
to .
Any action you perform on your dryer will turn o the Smart Control Function. (Opening the door,
tapping the LCD panel, pushing buttons, etc.)
Smart Monitor (Gas Model Only)
Tap this control to turn the Smart Monitor function on or o . When this function is turned on, you
can monitor the drying process and be notifi ed when the cycle is complete.
Turning the Smart Monitor function on changes the icon from
to .
Save as My Cycles
Tap this control (

) to save the currently selected cycle and its options as a My Cycle. My cycle
lets you save up to 3 of your favorite cycle with their drying and temperature settings and then
recall and run those cycles at the push of button.

Delay Start
Tap this control to delay the start of the selected cycle by setting a specifi c start time. If the dryer
recognizes that the Smart Grid is available, the options for turning variable energy use on or o
are accessible. When the Delay Start function is turned on, the icon changes from

Child Lock
Activate and deactivate the Child Lock function using this control.
Tap this control to activate the deactivated Child Lock function (
