Keyword Recording
• Programmes that are set to be recorded automatically with
Keyword Recording are not displayed on the Timer
Recording confirmation screen. (> 35). (> right, “To
display the list of programmes found with the set keyword”)
• When a search brings up too many programmes, we
recommend revising the search settings.
• On the TV Guide screen, up to 128 programmes are
displayed with the Keyword Recording icon “F” (blue).
The unit can find programmes that include
specified keywords from programme names and
programme information on TV Guide, and record
the programmes automatically.
• This operation only records to built-in HDD.
• This unit can record three programmes being
broadcasted at the same time.
• Notes on timer recording (> 34)
1 On the TV Guide screen:
Select the programme for keyword
recording and press the blue button.
2 Select the items and change the items if
necessary.
• Refer to “Keyword Recording conditions”.
(> right)
3 Select “Set”, then press [OK].
4 Press [OK].
The Keyword Recording icon “F” (blue) is
displayed on the TV Guide screen.

Search Conditions:
Keyword 1-16
Input the keyword to be registered.
• Refer to “Entering text”. (> 98)
• Default keyword is the programme title
selected on the TV Guide screen.
If the programme title includes its episode
number, etc., delete the number before
registering the title.
Search Target
Select the search target.
Extra Word Settings
1 Add up to two keywords and two excluded
words to refine search conditions.
2 Select “Set”, then press [OK].
Category
Select the channels to be covered by Keyword
Recording.
Detail Search Condition
Set the detailed search condition.
Prog.Type
Select the programme type.
Remove Duplicates
When there are multiple programmes with the
same title, start time and length, only the
programme closest to the top of the channel
list will be recorded.
Recording Settings:
Conversion Mode
Refer to step 2 on page 29, “Recording TV
programmes”.
Subtitle
You can choose whether or not to record the
subtitle at conversion.
(Only when item other than “Off (DR)” is
selected in “Conversion Mode”)
Guide Link
You can choose whether or not to use the Guide
Link function. (> 32)
