  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Empty and rinse the water tank after each use.
  • Rinse the K-Pod holder or ground coffee filter after each use. Both are dishwasher-safe.

Descaling (Mineral Build-up Removal)

Regular descaling improves coffee taste and prolongs the machine's life. A descaling reminder function is included. Descaling frequency depends on water hardness; typically every 1-3 months.

  1. Fill the water tank with 12 oz of a descaling solution (as per solution instructions) or a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water.

  3. Plug in the unit and press the brew button to run the solution through the system.
  4. Discard the solution from the mug.
  5. Rinse the water tank thoroughly. Fill with fresh cold water and run at least two full brewing cycles (without coffee) to flush the system completely.
  6. Wipe the exterior clean.

Self-Cleaning Function

For general internal cleaning, you can run a water-only brew cycle (without coffee) as described in the Initial Setup section.
