This manual provides instructions for the Tastyle Single Serve Hot & Iced Coffee Maker (2.0 Version, Gray). This compact coffee maker brews single servings of hot or iced coffee using ground coffee or K-Cup pods. It features a removable water reservoir, multiple brew sizes, and adjustable brew strength.

Use Guide

Before First Use

1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Wash the removable water reservoir, drip tray, and reusable filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Perform a cleaning cycle by filling the reservoir with fresh water and running a 12 oz brew cycle without coffee or a pod. Discard the water.

Brewing Coffee

Using Ground Coffee

1. Fill the removable reservoir with fresh, cold water and reattach it to the unit.
2. Place the reusable filter basket into the brew head.
3. Add ground coffee to the filter. A standard measure is one tablespoon per 6 oz of water.
4. Close the brew head lid securely.
5. Place a cup or mug (up to 7.3" tall with drip tray removed) on the drip tray.
6. Press the POWER button to turn on the machine.
7. Select your desired BREW SIZE (6, 8, 10, 12, 16, or 24 oz).
8. Select your desired BREW STRENGTH (Classic or Bold).
9. Press the BREW button to start the cycle.

Using a K-Cup Pod

1. Fill the removable reservoir with fresh, cold water and reattach it.
2. Remove the reusable filter basket and insert a K-Cup pod directly into the pod holder.
3. Close the brew head lid securely, which will puncture the pod.
4. Place your cup on the drip tray.
5. Press POWER, select your BREW SIZE and STRENGTH, then press BREW.

Brewing Iced Coffee

1. Fill your cup with ice up to the fill line corresponding to your desired drink size (e.g., fill to the 12 oz line for a 12 oz iced coffee).
2. Place the cup on the drip tray.
3. Select the OVER ICE brew style. The machine will adjust the brew cycle for optimal iced coffee strength.
4. Select your BREW SIZE and press BREW.

Control Panel & Indicators

The front panel includes the following buttons and indicators:

• POWER Button: Turns the machine on and off.
• BREW SIZE Buttons (6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 24 oz): Selects the volume of coffee to brew.
• BREW STRENGTH Buttons (Classic, Bold, Over Ice): Selects the brewing style.
• BREW Button: Starts the brewing cycle. A light will illuminate during brewing.
• Water Shortage Alert: An indicator light or message will activate if the water reservoir is empty or not properly attached.

Cleaning & Descaling

Daily Cleaning

• Remove and rinse the drip tray, water reservoir, and filter basket after use.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.

Descaling (Monthly or as needed)

1. Fill the reservoir with a mixture of half white vinegar and half water.
2. Place a large cup on the drip tray.
3. Run a 24 oz brew cycle without coffee or a pod. Discard the liquid.
4. Repeat with two full reservoirs of fresh water to rinse the system thoroughly.
