4. Use Guide

4.1 Initial Setup

  1. Remove all packaging materials.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir, drip tray, capsule holder, reusable ground filter, and milk frother with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, and dry surface.
  4. Insert the drip tray into the base of the machine.
  5. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and reattach it to the back of the unit.
  6. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V outlet.

4.2 Brewing with a K-Cup Pod

  1. Lift the brew head lid.
  2. Place a K-Cup pod into the capsule holder. Ensure the pod is seated properly.
  3. Close the brew head lid firmly.
  4. Place your cup or travel mug on the drip tray.
  5. Press the POWER button to turn the machine on.
  6. Select your desired Brew Style (Classic, Bold, Over Ice, or Specialty).
  7. Select your desired Cup Size (6, 8, 10, 12, 16, or 24 oz).
  8. Press the BREW button. Brewing will begin.
  9. When brewing is complete, the machine will beep. Lift the brew head lid to discard the used pod.

4.3 Brewing with Ground Coffee

  1. Lift the brew head lid and remove the capsule holder.
  2. Insert the reusable ground coffee filter into the brew head.
  3. Add one tablespoon of ground coffee per 6 oz of water, or to taste. Do not overfill.
  4. Close the brew head lid firmly.
  5. Place your cup on the drip tray.
  6. Turn the machine on, select your Brew Style and Cup Size, then press BREW.
  7. After brewing, discard the used grounds and rinse the reusable filter.

4.4 Using the Milk Frother

  1. Ensure the milk frother is securely attached to the side of the machine.
  2. Pour cold milk into a pitcher or cup. Do not exceed the "MAX" line on the frother.
  3. Place the frother whisk into the milk.
  4. Press the MILK FROTH button. The frother will operate for a preset time to create foam.
  5. For standalone use, the frother can be detached from the main unit. Ensure it is clean, dry, and charged if applicable (refer to manual for specific detached use instructions).
  6. After use, detach the frother and clean it immediately with warm water.

4.5 Making Iced Coffee

  1. Fill your cup with ice.
  2. Select the Over Ice brew style. This adjusts the brew temperature and cycle to prevent melting too much ice.
  3. Select your desired cup size.
  4. Brew directly over the ice.

4.6 Auto Shut-Off & Memory

The coffee maker will automatically turn off 10 minutes after the last operation. It remembers your last selected cup size for convenience.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

5.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Discard used pods or grounds after each brew.
  • Rinse the capsule holder or reusable ground filter with warm water.
  • Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  • Empty and rinse the drip tray.
  • Rinse the milk frother immediately after use.

5.2 Dishwasher Safe Parts

5.3 Descaling

  2. Place a large cup on the drip tray.
  3. Run a brew cycle without coffee until the reservoir is empty.
  4. Discard the vinegar water. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly.
  5. Refill the reservoir with clean water and run 2-3 brew cycles to rinse the system completely.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Machine won't turn on: Check that the power cord is securely plugged in.
  • No water flow / slow brewing: Ensure the water reservoir is properly seated and filled. Check for and clear any blockages in the needle. Descale the machine.
  • Coffee is not hot enough: Ensure you are using the correct brew style. Preheat your cup with hot water. Run a water-only brew cycle to heat the system before brewing coffee.
  • Milk frother not working: Ensure it is correctly attached to the main unit. Do not exceed the maximum milk level. Clean the frother whisk.
  • Leaking water: Ensure all components (water tank, drip tray) are correctly and securely positioned. Check the capsule holder for damage or improper closure.
