4�1�2 Manage messages
When receiving a message, an icon will appear on the status bar as a notification�
Drag down the status bar to open the Notification panel, touch the new message
to open and read it� You can also access the Messaging application and touch the
message to open it�
Messages are displayed in conversational order
Touch a message to enter the message composing screen:
Touch to call the number;
Touch to save the number to contacts or view the contact details if the number
has been saved;
To reply to a message, enter the text, or touch to insert quick text, contact etc�,
after edit then touch
Long press a message to show the following icons: copy text , forward ,
delete etc�, touch to save the message to SIM card�

You can adjust a range of message settings� From the Messaging application screen,
touch and touch Settings

SMS enabled
Touch to change your default SMS app�
Quick text
Touch to edit quick response text�
Delete old messages
Select to delete old messages when the maximum
number of stored messages is reached�
Text message limit
Touch to set the maximum number of text messages to
be saved per conversation�
Multimedia message
limit
Touch to set the maximum number of multimedia
messages to be saved per conversation�
Notifications
Mark the checkbox to display message notifications in
the status bar�
Select ringtone for SIM1
Touch to select ringtone for SIM1
Vibrate for SIM1
Touch to set the Vibrate mode for SIM1
Select ringtone for SIM2
Touch to select ringtone for SIM2
Vibrate for SIM2
Touch to set the Vibrate mode for SIM2
Beep when on an active
call
Touch to turn on/off beep when receiving a new message
during an active call
Enable WAP push
Touch to turn on/off receving push messages from network
Cell Broadcast
Touch to turn on/off receiving Cell Broadcast messages
Cell Broadcast ringtone
Touch to set the ringtone for Cell Broadcast
LED indicator
Touch to enable Cell Broadcast LED indicator
Light up screen
Touch to light up the screen when Cell Broadcast messages
are received
