KEY FOB
The Keyless Enter-N-Go feature allows the
driver to operate the ignition switch with
the push of a button as long as the key fob
is in the passenger compartment.
The Keyless Push Button Ignition has three
operating modes. The three modes are
STOP/OFF/LOCK, MAR/ON/RUN and
AVV/START.
NOTE:
In case the ignition button does not change
with the push of a button, the key fob may
have a low or dead battery. In this situation,
a back up method can be used to operate
the ignition switch. Put the nose side (side
opposite of the emergency key) of the key
fob against the ENGINE START/STOP but-
ton and push to operate the ignition.
Locking And Unlocking The Doors/Liftgate
Push the lock button once to lock all the doors and the liftgate. Push the unlock button
once to unlock the driver’s door only and twice within five seconds to unlock all the
doors and the liftgate.
All doors can be programmed to unlock on the first push of the unlock button. Refer to
“Uconnect Customer Programmable Features” for further information.
Panic Alarm
Push and hold the PANIC button for one second to turn the panic alarm on.
Wait approximately three seconds and push the button a second time to turn the panic
alarm off.
NOTE:
• Never use the PARK position as a substitute for the parking brake. Always apply the
parking brake fully when parked to guard against vehicle movement and possible injury
or damage.
