Oven Cavities
Oven Bottom
The oven bottom conceals the lower heating element. As
a result the element is protected from damage and spills.
Tip: Do not place food directly on the oven bottom.
9 WARNING
Do not use aluminum foil or protective liners to line
any part of the appliance, especially the oven
bottom. Installation of these liners may result in a
risk of electric shock or fire.
NOTICE: Do not place broil pan on the oven bottom to
catch spills. Doing so will damage the oven bottom
porcelain.
9 WARNING
NEVER cover any slots, holes or passages in the
oven bottom or cover an entire rack with materials
such as aluminum foil. Doing so blocks air flow
through the oven. Aluminum foil linings may also
trap heat, causing a fire hazard.
