Functional check: Hold down the Start/Stop
button to test all the display elements. When
functioning correctly, all segments will appear.
Using an AC adaptor (special accessory)
It is possible to operate this blood pressure monitor using an AC
adaptor (output 6V DC/600mA).
a. Push the power
plug into the
socket at the
back of the
monitor.
b. Plug the voltage
adaptor into a 110V /230V power socket.
c. Test that power is available by pressing the Start/Stop button.
Note:
• No power is taken from the batteries while the adaptor is
connected to the instrument.
• If the voltage is interrupted during the measurement (e.g., by
removing the adaptor), the instrument must be reset by
removing the plug from its socket and replacing it.
• Consult a dealer if you have questions relating to the AC
adaptor.
