5 Care and maintenance
5.2 Metal grease filters
The metal grease filters must be cleaned at least once a month with normal
use or whenever the saturation indicator illuminates. If properly cared for,
the grease filters should provide years of service.
Do not damage the collection tray or metal grease filters when in-
serting/removing them.
Removing
▸ Press the button to switch the
appliance off.
▸ Open the fan flap, pull it up and
thereby lift the grease collection
tray

up and out.

▸ Empty and clean the collection

Cleaning
▸ Clean the grease filters

in the dishwasher.
▸ Set the dishwasher to an «intensive» or «heavy» soiling programme.
Cleaning may cause the metal grease filters to become slightly discol-
oured. However, this will not affect the functioning of the filters in any
way.
