INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLING THE ICEMAKER
PREPARE FOR INSTALLATION
Ŷ Pull the freezer door open to full extension.
Ŷ 5HPRYHDWWDFKPHQWVFUHZVORFDWHGDWWKH
bottom on each side of the freezer door using
3/8” hex socket driver.
CAUTION
Lifting Hazard
)UHH]HUGRRULVKHDY\8VHERWKKDQGVWR
secure the door before lifting.
Ŷ /LIWWKHIUHH]HUGRRUWR
disengage it from the
slide mechanism
Ŷ The door can safely rest
on the bottom. Do not
rest the door on any
other surfaces to avoid
scratches.
REMOVE FREEZER DRAWER
Ŷ 5HPRYHWKHWRSIUHH]HUGUDZHUE\IXOO\
extending the drawer then lifting up and out.
Ŷ Push the bottom
basket back
until the slide
mechanism self
retracts.
CHECK FOR ICEMAKER WATER
LINE
Ŷ 3XOOWKHXQLWIRUZDUG8QSOXJWKHXQLW
Ŷ &KHFNIRULFHPDNHUZDWHUOLQH
FRPLQJRXWRIWKHXQLW,IDQ
icemaker water line exists,
discard the following items
IURPWKHNLWDQGVNLSWR6WHS
-icemaker water line assy
-coupler
-plug
-dual valve and water line assy
Ŷ ,IWKHUHLVDVWLFNHUVD\LQJ
"5HPRYHRQO\WRLQVWDOOZDWHU
fill tube", remove the sticker and continue with
6WHSV
ACCESS WIRE HARNESS
Ŷ Find the wire harness access cover in the
back left portion of the top of the freezer.
Ŷ8VHDIODWKHDGVFUHZGULYHUWRSU\RIIWKH
cover. Throw cover away.
Ŷ The wire harness is tucked inside the pocket.
Pull the connector down for access.
