Getting started with your appliance

A. ALARM
When either drawer has been left open for 3
minutes or longer, an audible alarm sound is triggered
in addition to a flashing blue LED indicator light above
the ALARM button. Press the button once to
temporarily disengage the ALARM,
or close the open drawers.
Press and hold ALARM for 3 seconds to disengage
the door-open ALARM function entirely. The key-press
will sound ONCE, confirming the ALARM function has
been disengaged.
Press and hold ALARM for 3 seconds to
reengage the door-open ALARM function. The key-
press will sound TWICE, and the LED indicator
light will turn on briefly.
NOTE:
The ALARM function will not operate when the unit
is in Sabbath mode. See the Sabbath Mode section of
Special Functions on pg. 8
There are other situations when the ALARM will
sound. See the Troubleshooting section on pg.
15
B. LOCK
All other buttons become unresponsive when
LOCK is activated. Press and hold the button for 3
seconds to activate or deactivate this function. The LED
indicator will illuminate or darken, and the key press will
sound once.
C. FRIDGE
Press the button once to activate. The LED
indicator will illuminate and the refrigerator (UPPER)
drawer will set to the default FRIDGE temperature of
37°F (3°C). The FRIDGE range is adjustable to
between 36°F and 40°F (2°C & 4°C) using the leftmost
(+) or () buttons.
D. CELLAR
Press the button once to activate. The LED
indicator will illuminate and the unit will set to the
default CELLAR temperature of 44°F (6°C) for the
refrigerator (UPPER), and 3°F (-16°C) for the freezer
(LOWER) drawers. The CELLAR range is adjustable to
between 41°F and 47°F (5°C & 8°C) for the refrigerator
and 0°F and 6°F (-17°C & -
14°C) for the freezer using the leftmost (+) or (-)
buttons.
The freezer (LOWER) drawer temperature setting
CANNOT be adjusted independently when the unit is
in CELLAR mode, and the rightmost (+) or (-) buttons will
not function.
WARNING:
Perishable foods and/or beverages kept in the
refrigerator drawer may spoil when the temperature
setting is in the CELLAR range.
E. BAR
Press the button once to activate. The LED
indicator will illuminate and the refrigerator (UPPER)
drawer will set to the default BAR temperature of
34°F (1°C). The BAR range is adjustable to between
33°F and 35°F (0°C-1°C) using the leftmost (+) or ()
buttons.
F. REFRIGERATOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL Press
(-) to lower the set temperature and (+) to raise the set
temperature of the
refrigerator (UPPER)
drawer between
or within the ranges indicated.
G. REFRIGERATOR DISPLAY PANEL
The set temperature of the refrigerator (UPPER)
compartment is shown in the display panel.
H. QUICK CHILL
Press the button once to activate. The LED
indicator will illuminate and the unit will set to the
QUICK CHILL temperature of 33°F (0°C) for the
refrigerator (UPPER) drawer and -5°F (-21°C) for the
freezer (LOWER) drawer. After 24 hours, or if
the QUICK CHILL button is pressed again, the unit
returns to its previous settings.
NOTE:
All other temperature control buttons are locked while
the unit remains in QUICK CHILL mode.
I. FREEZER DISPLAY PANEL
The set temperature of the freezer (LOWER)
compartment is shown in the display panel.
J. FREEZER TEMPERATURE CONTROL Press (-) to
lower the set temperature and (+) to raise the set
temperature of the freezer (LOWER) drawer to between
-5°F (-21°C) and 6°F (-14°C).
K. ICE MAKER CONTROL
Press the button once to activate or deactivate the ice-
