Operating Controls
The start button is used for starting the engine.
Pushing the button in starts the engine. See
Starting Procedure, page 31.
When the start button is pushed, the starter
motor will crank the engine.
The engine stop button is used to turn the
engine off during normal riding situations. To
operate, push the button in and hold it in until
the engine stops completely.
The front brake lever is used to slow or stop
your motorcycle. To operate, pull the lever.

page 37.
The throttle controls engine rpm (speed). To
increase engine rpm, rotate the grip toward you.
To reduce engine rpm, rotate the grip away
from you. The throttle will automatically return
to the closed position (engine idle) when you
remove your hand.
