Renaming a disc
The original disc name is generated
automatically by the recorder. You can
rename the disc by following the steps
below.
A
In disc edit menu, use ST keys to select
{ Label } and press OK.
A keyboard screen appears.
B
Use W X ST keys to highlight a
character/number/symbol and press OK
to select.
The maximum input is up to 16
characters.
You can use the following keys on the
keyboard screen to edit your input. Use
WXST keys to highlight the respective
bar.
ABC
: display the letters in upper case.
abc
: display the letters in lower case.
?!#
: display the symbols.
Space
: create a space between the
characters.
X
: remove the character to the
left of the cursor.
To switch between upper, lower case
characters or symbols input  elds, press
í or ë repeatedly to select the
preferred field.
C
To con rm, use STWX keys to select
{ Con rm } and press OK.
The info panel is now updated.
To cancel the changes, press BACK on
the remote control.
Playback your recordings on
other DVD Players (DVD±R)
It is necessary to  nalise a DVD±R disc
before you can play it on another DVD
player.
After a DVD±R disc has been
nalised, no further recordings or
editing can be made to it. Ensure
that you have completed all
recording and editing before
nalising the disc.
A
Press DISC to access the disc menu.
B
Use STWX keys to select a title and
press OK.
The editing menu appears.
C
Use ST keys to select { Finalise } and
press OK.
A warning message appears.
D
Select { OK } in the menu and press OK.
Finalisation begins. The process will
take a few minutes depending on the
length of recordings.
Do not open the disc tray or switch off
the power as this may render the disc
unusable.
