Step 3: Installation and Setup
The installation menu will appear the very
rst time you turn on this recorder.
These settings will help you to set up the
basic recorder features easily, including
TV programme installation and language
settings.
IMPORTANT!
Complete the installation settings
before inserting a disc for playback
or recording. The disc tray will not
open until the initial installation is
completed.

Turn on the TV.

Press STANDBY-ON 2 to turn on
the recorder.
Your TV should show the recorder’s
initial installation screen now – { Menu
Language } screen.
If you do not see the correct video
immediately, select the correct video
input on your TV. Refer to your TV’s
user manual on how to select the correct
video input on your TV.

Use ST keys on the remote control to
select the desired on-screen display
language and press OK to con rm.

The country selection screen appears on
the TV. This setting is important for
automatic installation of TV channels in
your area.

to select the country you live in and
press OK to con rm.

or STWX keys to enter the correct
date. Press OK to con rm and continue.
