Maintainence & repair

a. Rotate the knob anticlockwise and pull it out, then remove the base, take out Hepa type filter to clean or replace with new one.
b. Clockwise assemble the product.

#1 Can the light be turned off?
No the light always stays on when the purifier is on. Although you may want to look into a different one. I had mine for about 4 months and the entire bottom crumble into pieces when I went to change the filter. The company wouldn't respond to my emails to make it right. I now have a different one that has lasted!
#2 Does this remove odors from cooking?
To be honest it is in a bedroom so i'm not 100% sure about that. But i'm willing to bet it does. its a great product
#3 How many times per hour is the air circulated?
I'm unable to answer that question, all I know that I breathe better with using it.
#4 Can I turn this on all the time?
We've only had ours a few months ... but we don't intend to turn it off; it's a powerful little machine >> but it's to early to tell how long it will last by never turning it off.
#5 Can you turn off the light off when the machine is running?
I think the only time the light is off is when you turn it off.
#6 Does this filter require batteries or does it charge from the wall?
Charge from the wall, not included battery
