Step 11 Use half of the sanitizer/water
solution to sanitize all food zone surfaces
of the ice machine and bin (or dispenser).
Use a spray bottle to liberally apply the
solution. When sanitizing, pay particular
attention to the following areas:
Side walls
Base (area above water trough)
Evaporator plastic parts - including top,
bottom and sides
Bin or dispenser
Do not rinse the sanitized areas.
Step 12 Replace all removed components
and wait 20 minutes.
Step 13 Press the Clean button and
select “Make ice when complete”. Water
will flow through the water dump valve
and down the drain. Wait approximately
1 minute until the water trough refills and
the display indicates Add Chemical. Add the
proper amount of ice machine sanitizer to
the water trough by pouring between the
water curtain and evaporator, then confirm
the chemical was added.

Step 14 Close and secure the front door.
The ice machine will automatically start ice
making after the sanitize cycle is complete
(approximately 24 minutes).
Parts Removal for Detailed Descaling
and Sanitizing
Single evaporator is shown; Each
evaporator will have a distribution tube and
water curtain/damper.
A. Remove the water curtain(s)
Gently flex the curtain in the center and
remove it from the right side.
Slide the left pin out.
B. Remove the ice thickness probe
Compress the hinge pin on the top of the
ice thickness probe.
Pivot the ice thickness probe to
disengage one pin then the other. The
ice thickness probe can be descaled and
sanitized at this point without complete
removal. If complete removal is desired,
disconnect the ice thickness control
wiring from the control board.
C. Remove the water trough
Depress tabs on right and left side of the
water trough.
Allow front of water trough to drop as
you pull forward to disengage the rear
pins.
