Engine Oil & Filter
Crankcase Oil Level Check
Check the crankcase oil level.
Do not check the oil level immediately after the engine has been
operated at high speeds because the oil level reading will be
inaccurate.
Remove the oil check bolt (5) and washer.
• If oil flows out of the check bolt hole, install and tighten a new oil
check bolt and washer and proceed to the Oil Tank Level Check.
• If oil does not flow out of the check bolt hole, install and tighten
a new oil check bolt and washer and add the recommended
engine oil to the oil tank up to the LOWER level mark on the
dipstick.
Proceed to the Oil Tank Level Check.
