Tap the top panel using your hands
gently. Do not use other items, such as a
stick as it will scratch the surface of the
top panel.

The pressure you apply when tapping
the top panel will not affect the volume
level in the Taiko mode as it follows the
volume level of the system.

During the Taiko mode, the keys on the
touch panel are deactivated except
and TAIKO buttons. Use the buttons
on the remote control to change the
function or volume.
1 Press TAIKO on the unit
repeatedly to select “TAIKO”.
The top panel lights up in 4 different
colors according to zone.
2 Tap on zone 1, 2, 3 or 4 or swipe
your hand over the GESTURE
CONTROL sensor.
The available swiping motions are
as follows:

Playing the Taiko game
In this game, you need to tap the
top panel according to the lighting
guide pattern that appears on
the surrounding of the GESTURE
CONTROL sensor. Your score is
calculated from a scale of 0 to 100
based on the number of correct
actions performed.
Lighting
guide
1 Press TAIKO on the unit
repeatedly until “GAME 5”
flashes on the display.
The system counts down in
5seconds and the game starts
when “START” flashes on the
display.
2 Tap zone 1, 2, 3 or 4 according to
the lighting guide pattern.
The lighting guide will flash 3 times.
You need to tap the correct zone on
the third time it flashes.

Blue
Make sure you tap on the correct
zone at the exact moment when the
lighting guide flashes in blue.
