Conversion from natural gas to liquid gas (LPG)

1. The natural gas adapter on the appliance must be replaced with a gas connection hose. First remove the safety hose or gas line, if present, from the appliance.

To do this, disconnect the threaded connection piece on the gas line or the safety hose (with a size 24 key) from the connecting piece on the appliance (with a size 24 key). Figure 1.

Disconnect the connecting piece (with a size 24 key) from the end of the gas connection (with a size 22 key). Figure 2.

2. Place the new seal on the connecting piece. Make sure that the seal is correctly seated.

3. Attach the connecting piece (with a size 24 key) to the end of the gas connection (with a size 22 key).

4. Insert the safety hose and tighten using a screw coupling or hose clamp.

5. To perform a leak test, see the section entitled "Leak test". Open the gas supply.

Conversion from liquid gas to natural gas

1. The connecting hose on the appliance must be replaced with a natural gas adapter. First remove the safety hose, if present, by loosening the screw connection or the fastening clip from the appliance. Figure 1.

Attach the connecting piece (with a size 24 key) to the end of the gas connection (with a size 22 key). Figure 2.

2. Place the new seal on the connecting piece. Make sure that the seal is correctly seated.

3. Attach the connecting piece (with a size 24 key) to the end of the gas connection (with a size 22 key).

4. Attach the threaded connecting piece of the gas line or safety hose (with a size 24 key) to the connecting piece with a new seal, and tighten it.

Replacing the burner nozzles

1. Turn off all switches on the control panel.

4. Remove the burner nozzles (Allen key 7).

5. To identify the burner nozzles, see the table in the section entitled "Technical properties - gas". Insert the new nozzles in the corresponding burners.

Adjusting or replacing the bypass nozzles

1. Turn off the switches on the control panel.

2. Pull of all handles carefully upwards.

Removing the hob plate

1. Remove the pan support, the handles and burner parts.
11
2. Loosen the hob plate burner connection screws.

3. For models with electric hotplate (optional): After loosening the burner screws, turn the hob over and remove the connection nut for the electric hotplate.

4. Grip the hop plate at the sides with both hands and lift it carefully.
11
Replacing the bypass nozzles
11
1. Loosen the bypass nozzles with a flat head screwdriver (no. 2). Unscrew the bypass nozzles.

2. You can use the table to determine the new bypass nozzles that you will need after the gas conversion. See the section entitled "Technical properties - gas".

3. Check whether the seals on the bypass nozzles are correctly seated and work precisely. Only use bypass nozzles with intact seals.
11
4. Insert the new bypass nozzles and tighten them. Make sure that all bypass nozzles are connected to the correct shut-off valves.

5. At this point, it is essential to carry out a leak test. See the section entitled "Leak test".

Installing the hob plate
11
1. Make sure that the cables are not damaged and the connections are not detached.
11
2. Carefully replace the hob plate. Screw in the hob plate burner screws again.
11

3. For models with electric hotplate (optional): After fixing the burner screws, turn the hob over and install the connection nut for the electric hotplate.

1. Refit the burner cups according to their size, making sure that the ignition plug catches precisely in the opening at the edge of the burner cup. Place the enamel burner caps (paying attention to their size) precisely on the burner cups.

2. Replace the pan supports. When doing so, make sure that the pan support with the 80 mm span width is placed on the auxiliary burner.
11
3. Carefully replace the control knob.
11
4. At this point, it is important to check the burner flame behaviour. See the section entitled "Correct flame behaviour".

5. Also check that the appliance functions operate correctly.

4. Press the function selector and turn it anti-clockwise. This supplies the nozzle with gas.

Correct flame formation

1. Ignite the hob burner as described in the operating instructions.

2. Check the large and small flames for the correct flame behaviour. The flame must burn evenly and continuously.

3. Using the burner knob, switch quickly between the large and small frame. Repeat this process a few times. The gas flame must not flicker or go out.

1. Light the gas with the igniter knob as described in the operating instructions.

2. Turn the burner to the small flame setting. Check whether the ignition is activated by holding the knob in the "small flame" position for approximately 1 minute.

3. Check the large and small flames for the correct flame behaviour. The flame must burn evenly and continuously.

4. Using the burner knob, switch quickly between the large and small frame. Repeat this process a few times. The gas flame must not flicker or go out.
