Replacing the burner nozzles
After having replaced the gas connecting piece on the
appliance to be converted to another gas type, all burner
nozzles must be replaced. The following steps must be
observed:
1. Turn off all switches on the control panel.
2. Shut off the gas supply.
3. Remove the pan support and burner parts.
4. Remove the burner nozzles (Allen key 7).
5. To identify the burner nozzles, see the table in the section
entitled "Technical properties - gas".
Insert the new nozzles in the corresponding burners.
Once the nozzles have been replaced, perform a leak test. See
the section entitled "Leak test".
Adjusting or replacing the bypass nozzles
The bypass nozzles regulate the minimum flame height of the
burners.
Preparation
Shut off the gas supply.
: Risk of electric shock!
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
1. Turn off the switches on the control panel.
2. Pull of all handles carefully upwards.
To adjust or replace the bypass nozzles when converting
from natural gas to liquid gas:
For models with two-hand spark ignition (with igniter)
(optional):
Fully close the bypass nozzles at the tap openings on the hob
plate.
The bypass nozzles of the burners can be adjusted via the tap
openings, which can be seen if the control knobs are pulled off
the control panel. To do this, use a flat head screwdriver (no. 2)
to fully screw in the bypass nozzles in the tap openings (make
sure that the cables are not damaged in the process).
For models with one-hand spark ignition (with automatic
igniter) (optional):
To reach the bypass nozzles, the hob plate must be removed.
To do this, read the section entitled "Removing the hob plate".
After the hob plate has been removed, the ignition group on the
gas taps must be removed.
The bypass nozzles must then be screwed in fully.
Then the ignition group must be refitted and the hob plate
installed as described in the section entitled "Installing the hob
plate".
To adjust or replace the bypass nozzles when converting
from natural gas to liquid gas:
For models with two-hand spark ignition (with igniter)
(optional):
All of the appliance's bypass nozzles must be replaced. To do
this, read the section entitled "Removing the hob plate".
The instructions in the section entitled "Replacing the bypass
nozzles" must then be followed.
Then, follow the instructions in the section entitled "Installing the
hop plate".
For models with one-hand spark ignition (with automatic
igniter) (optional):
All of the appliance's bypass nozzles must be replaced. To do
this, read the section entitled "Removing the hob plate".
After the hob plate has been removed, the ignition group
located on the gas taps must be removed. The instructions in
the section entitled "Replacing the bypass nozzles" must then
be followed.
Then reinstall the ignition group and follow the instructions in
the section entitled "Installing the hop plate".
