Rug Doctor 93146 Questions and Answers

#1 So it doesn't heat the water so I'm assuming you just fill it
with hot water and it will work fine?

You can either heat water on the stove to put in the
machine, drain water directly from your hot water heater
into it, or just use hot tap water. All three methods will
work. You don't want the water so hot that it is
dangerous to the user, the machine, or the carpets
though.

#2 Can you use it on laminate flooring?

No. This model will only clean carpet/upholstery. The Flex
Clean will clean hard surface flooring as well as
carpet/upholstery.

#3 Are all the parts used that come in contact with water, rust
proof? A huge problem I see with cheaper models is they
are not using rust proof parts.

Yes. All of the metal pieces are waterproofed to prevent
rust.

#4 Does this machine have filters that need replaced?

You don't need filters

#5 Can I use my rug doctor deep carpet cleaner on hard
floors?

The Deep Carpet Cleaner is not designed for hard floors.
The had floor cleaners are the floor doctor or the Flex Clean
machine.
