That will depend on your water pressure and what spray pattern mode you set. At 50 PSI, the maximum spray radius is about 40 feet, and can be reached using either the Shower, Large or Small spray patterns. At 60 PSI, the maximum spray radius is about 41 feet, and can be reached using the Small spray pattern.

Trying to figure out how the two bottom adjustable / rotatable tabs control the spraying angle of the sprinkler?

There are Two Rotatable Tabs, These Tabs must line up to indicate the area you want to water. If you want to make a full circle, then both Tabs on the bands must meet. One on top of the other, so that the sprinkler would make a complete circle. If you want a half circle, then the Tabs on the bands must be opposite of each other.

How do you set and adjust this sprinkler?

To select a spray pattern, simply rotate the head and click into position. You can also set your preferred watering range from 25 to 360 degrees by sliding the adjustment collar tabs into position.

For our gear-driven heads you will need to unscrew the top lid to take the guts of the sprinkler out of the canister. On the bottom of these sprinklers is a filter, the filter may be clogged which would hinder the flow of water so there may not be enough water flowing through. They can remove the filter and clean it. Another thing that can cause the gear-driven heads to stop rotating is if the nozzle shoots out. Without the nozzle in there, the water usage through the sprinkler will be too great and can cause it not to rotate.

This sprinkler has rotation adjustment tabs towards the bottom of the sprinkler body. These can be brought together to stop rotation.
