Continuous measurement and minimum/maximum measurement (see figure D)
In continuous measurement mode, the measuring tool can be moved relative to the tar-
get, during which the measured value will be updated every half a second. You can, for
example, move a desired distance away from a wall while reading off the current distance
at all times.
Press the button (k) and then select the button for continuous measurement .
Press the measuring button (1) to start the continuous measurement.
The minimum measurement is used to determine the shortest distance from a fixed ref-
erence point. For example, it can help in determining verticals or horizontals.
The maximum measurement is used to determine the greatest distance from a fixed ref-
erence point. For example, it can help in determining diagonals.
Continuous measurement automatically switches off after four minutes. The last meas-
ured value remains on the display.
List of the last measured values/calculations
The measuring tool stores the last ten measured values and their calculations and dis-
plays them in reverse order (most recent measured value/most recent calculation dis-
played first). Press the button (i) and select the button (p).
Deleting measured values in the measured value list
Press the button (i) and select the button (p).
After selecting the button (h), you can delete either the entire meas-
ured-value list or individual measured values. Press the button (h) to
delete the selected individual measured value.
Data transmission
Transmitting data to other devices
The measuring tool is fitted with a Bluetooth® module, which enables
wireless data transfer to certain mobile devices with a Bluetooth® in-
terface (e.g. smartphone, tablet).
Information about the system requirements for a Bluetooth® connection can be found on
the Bosch website at www.bosch‑pt.com
When transmitting data by means of Bluetooth®, time lags may occur between the mobile
device and the measuring tool. This can be due to the distance between the two devices
or the measurement object itself.
